Diarrhea Types and Treatment

Diarrhea is a frequent emptying of the intestines at which intestinal waste has a soft or liquid consistence.

The disease duration does not exceed, as a rule, 35 days. The treatment is symptomatic and is narrowed to elimination of watery-electrolytic disorders.

The treatment is directed on elimination of the reasons which have caused diarrhea. For example, corresponding vitamins are injected under hypovitaminosis, stomach gastric juice or its substitutes are prescribed under achylia. Diarrheas which are not related to infection, a sparing diet (restriction of carbohydrates, refractory fats of the animal origin), and careful food chewing food are advised.
