Antidepressants Prevent Ovulation

Not so long ago, American scientists investigated how application of antidepressants influence quality of sperm. The result was that approximately about the third of sperm cells lose the ability to fertilization.

More than thirty five healthy men participated in the experiment without consideration of their depression which is not rare. Before the beginning of the experiment and after its termination, all participants took usual analyses in such cases as well as sperm samples.

After that during four weeks they took the medicine which name is Paroxitin (the same, as Prozac) then their general state of health and sperm condition was estimated.

As a result, all participants of the experiment cheered up apathy, alarm and emotional pressure completely disappeared. And sperm quality at first sight was same as prior to the beginning of using antidepressants.
