Prescription:

  SULFAMETHOXAZOLE/ TRIMETHOPRIM (Bactrim) is a composition antibiotic that consists of two most active ingredients used to treat a variety of infections of ear, urinary tract, bronchitis or traveler’s diarrhea.         

Inform your Physician if you have any of the following conditions:

• genus Anemia or other blood diseases;
• eminent blood levels of atomic number 19;
• renal disorder;
• biliary disease;
• an uncommon allergy to sulfamethoxazole or other sulfa antibiotic drugs, trimethoprim, furosemide or thiazide diuretics (water pills), oral diabetes medicates, or other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives;
• expectant or wishing to get pregnant;
• lactating.

Application Method:

• consume sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim orally;
• stick to the instructions on the prescription leaflet;
• endeavor to consume your drug at the same time daily.

Dose Skipped or Missed:

It is significant that you recollect consuming your dose daily. If you omit a dose, consume it as soon as you are able to. If you don't recollect until the following day, contact your physician or healthcare professional for details.

Side-effects can be noticed while taking Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim:

If you feel the side effects, mentioned below, you shall apprize your physician as soon as possible:

• allergies;
• blue-black fingernails or lips;

• agitation or chills, pharyngitis;
