TRAZODONE (Desyrel) can be called a depression medication that is effective in the treatment of bipolar disorder (manic depression), schizophrenia, or other psychiatric diseases. 

Inform your Physician if you have any of the following conditions:

• manic depression;
• heart condition, or former heart attack;
• atypical pulsation;
• renal disorder;
• biliary disorder;
• manic disorder;
• an uncommon allergy to trazodone, other medications, nutrients, dyes or preservatives;
• expectant or wishing to get pregnant;
• lactating.

Application Method:

• consume trazodone orally;
• stick to the instructions on the prescription leaflet;
• endeavor to consume your drug at the same time daily.

Dose Skipped or Missed:

It is significant that you recollect consuming your dose daily. If you omit a dose, consume it as soon as you are able to. If you don't recollect until the following day, contact your physician or healthcare professional for details.

Side-effects can be noticed while taking Trazodone:

If you feel the side effects, mentioned below, you shall apprize your physician as soon as possible:

• swooning spells;
• quick or atypical pulsation;
• painful hard-ons or other intimate dysfunction;
• skin eruption;
• shakiness.

  If you feel the side effects, mentioned below, you shall contact your physician but they are not so harmful: 

• indistinct vision;
• astriction;
• sleepiness, giddiness;
• xerostomia;
• head ache;
• muscle achings or ails;
• sickness, vomiting;
• uncommon fatigue or asthenia.

Pay much attention while consuming Trazodone:

Call on your physician or doctor for systematic checks on your advance. You may have to take trazodone for a fortnight or more before you feel finer. If you've been consuming trazodone for some time, do not abruptly finish consuming it. Your physician or doctor may want you to step by step lower the dose; ask for advice. 

You may get dormant or airheaded. Don't drive, apply machinery, or do anything that requires brain watchfulness until you know how this drug influences you. Don't stand or sit up rapidly, especially if you're an aged patient. This diminishes the risk of airheaded or swooning spells. Alcoholic beverages may increase giddiness and sleepiness. Obviate alcoholic beverages. 

If you're going to have a surgical operation, inform your physician or doctor that you are consuming trazodone. 

Storage Instructions:

  Exclude the reach of kids. Maintain storage temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F. Discard any unused drug after the expiry date.
