ETHAMBUTOL (Myambutol) is a medication that effectively treats infections within the body and is used in the therapy of tuberculosis.  

Inform your Physician if you have any of the following conditions:

• heart disorder;
• renal disorder;
• biliary disorder;
• convulsion;
• an uncommon allergy to ethambutol, other medications, nutrients, dyestuffs, or preservatives;
• expectant or wishing to get pregnant;
• lactating.

Application Method:

• consume ethambutol orally;
• stick to the instructions on the prescription leaflet;
• endeavor to consume your drug at the same time daily.

Dose Skipped or Missed:

It is significant that you recollect consuming your dose daily. If you omit a dose, consume it as soon as you are able to. If you don't recollect until the following day, contact your physician or healthcare professional for details.

Side-effects can be noticed while taking Ethambutol:

• agitation;

Don't drive, apply machinery, or do anything that needs brain alertness until you know how this drug influences you.

To lower the risk of airheaded or conking spells, don't sit or stand up rapidly, especially if you're an aged patient. Alcoholic beverages can make you more empty-headed or multiply flushing and rapid pulsation. Avoid alcoholic drinks.

Call on your physician or doctor for regular checks on your advance. Check your blood pressure on a regular basis. Enquire your physician or doctor what your blood pressure should be, and when you should get in touch with him or her. You must not get desiccated, enquire your physician or doctor how much water you need to drink a day. Don't abruptly finish taking ethambutol except on your prescriber's advice.

Storage Instructions

:  Exclude the reach of kids. Maintain storage temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F. Discard any unused drug after the expiry date.
